I use transitions & clean up time for oral review quizzes..They can't wait! Clean up time is easy...have helpers do EVERYTHING! Clean floor, stack chairs, put away laptops, wipe whiteboards, pass out papers for morning work for nest day, etc. When we leave...all ready for the next AM! I like the oral quizzes! Amanda
We review our day by sharing what we learned and what we enjoyed from our class that day! :) Thanks for linking up! :)Miss DeCarbo at Sugar and Spice
I like them sharing what they liked from that day. Amanda
I like to give my children chances to talk and share. They really need to practice having conversations. Maria
Our curriculum has quite of a bit of "talk time". It isn't necessarily "free talk" time, but we have a major focus on vocabulary and oral language development. I love the idea of just allowing them to talk and share with one another! Thanks for stopping by!
I read, or a student reads to the dismissal group in my room. I don't get to keep my whole class. At dimissal I get a group. This week I get daycare riders. Sometimes we sing. And, on days when it's needed we dance. KaSandraMemoriesMadeinFirst
I like the idea of you or a student reading. Especially at this point in the year, it is fun to see them "show off" their reading skills. Thanks for stopping by!Amanda
